My Favorite Korean Food Sites

I believe that Korean food will be the next big trend in the culinary world. I may be a bit biased, but there is no other ethnic food that uses such diverse ingredients and complex flavors! OK, I KNOW I am biased.

Here are some wonderful sites I visit for inspiration, and where I can find authentic Korean recipes. I hope you will use these sites as a reference when you're feeling the urge to try something new in your kitchen.

Korean Food Gallery : A site which features beautiful photos of Korean food with their blog links.

Apricosa : Erica is not Korean, but oh boy, she can out cook any seasoned "Ajumma" (married, middle age woman). She even owns gloves to make Kimchi in! Check out her beautiful blog.

Eating and Living : Hyosun's blog started when she wanted to share her recipes with her grown up children. She is compiling these wonderful recipes in order to have a cookbook one day. This blog has lovely photos with even more wonderful recipes.

Korean-American Mommy : Lisa's beautiful photography will make you fall in love with Korean food! (Who says it isn't fun to feast with your eyes?)

Maangchi : A YouTube sensation for Korean recipe videos. You will learn how to make great Korean dishes from her clips.

Do you like Korean food? Do you have a favorite Korean food site you want to share?

  8. Honestly, I'm not that familiar with Korean food. I've been to a Korean restaurant once (and loved it) but it's kind of fallen off my radar. I'd love to experiment with it in my kitchen--thanks for the site recommendations!

  9. I love Korean food and I've got no problem when it becomes a trend in the future :). But I can see that it's growing in popularity, probably due to Korean drama and K-Pop too ;).

  15. Korean food is absolutely spectacular when done right!!!!

Unfortunately, I can't find the ingredients in my local area so I have to do without. But if I could get the right groceries I would love to make sundubu - by far my favourite Korean dish!
