It was great fun to be part of IPC's first annual Holiday Hospitality event. As part of the program, I was asked to do a cooking demonstration.
But first, as the ladies gathered, they were greeted by wonderful brunch prepared by Jina Breazeale, IPC's renowned Tea Lady.
Her baked creations are so beautiful and delicious; I'll be asking about this wonderful pumpkin muffin recipe.

Yes, it does seem strange to have a Korean showing a group of lovely American ladies how to cook a turkey! But it was great fun nonetheless.

It was such fun to be a part of this lovely event.

ReplyDeletePutting on a holiday food how-to is a great idea. You should have someone video it for you next time so all of us who are a bit further than a drive can get our long-distance learning on!

ReplyDeleteI bet the Korean lady made one "mean" and amazing turkey too. Surprising enough, in the different cultures that do not celebrate it usually make our foods in the most amazing way!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Kay. Looks like you did, and so did the church! Those pumpkin muffins look divine. I think I love pumpkin more this year than any other year before. We had pumpkin cheesecake at our home this year. Delish. Wish I could have seen you in action! Maybe someday... :)
