Egg Hunt Breakfast 2010

For the children of Independent Presbyterian Church, annual Egg Hunt Breakfast is a highly anticipated event. Beautifully organized by our children's director, Amy, there were over 230 in attendance this year.

The day before the breakfast, the whole youth group gather in preparation. 180 eggs were dyed in assorted colors and 1200 candy-filled eggs hidden for children to hunt.

Our Senior pastor, elders, and staff rose early Saturday morning to cook their famous pancake breakfast; from Lean Californian Style to Good Ol' Southern Boy Pancakes about 600 pancakes were masterfully cooked!

But kids know which ones to go for : Chocolate chip pancakes with whipping cream and yes, with syrup!

After breakfast was the long waited egg hunt. It's quite a scene to see the children scatter by age groups to gather their eggs, and one blessed child found the "Golden Egg". This year's winner: Catherine Jewel!

But Sweet Little Ada was just content with her one piece of candy. You will be walking next year to look for that Golden Egg, Ada!
